Terms of Service

By downloading or using the Spine mobile application (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Spine. By using the App, you confirm you meet this requirement.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@getspineapp.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You agree not to:

• Create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission
• Use another user's account
• Create multiple accounts to evade a ban or restriction

3. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you add to Spine (your collection data, comments, profile information). By submitting content to the App, you grant Spine a limited license to store and display that content to operate the App.

You agree not to post content that is:

• Harassing, threatening, or abusive toward other users
• Spam or intentionally disruptive

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Spine only for its intended purpose of cataloging and sharing physical media collections. You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise access the App's backend systems without authorization
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our servers or networks
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any other user's account or data

5. Third-Party Links

The App may display links to third-party websites (such as boutique label stores). These links are provided for convenience. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content or practices of any third-party sites.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Spine is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. We do not warrant the accuracy of movie metadata, which is sourced from TMDB.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes through the App.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the jurisdiction where Spine operates.
